1 Timothy 4:1-3

Some Will Depart from the Faith

1 Now ^athe Spirit expressly says that ^bin later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to ^cdeceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2 through the insincerity of ^dliars whose consciences are seared, 3 ^ewho forbid marriage and ^frequire abstinence from foods ^gthat God created ^hto be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

2 Timothy 3:1-6

Godlessness in the Last Days

1 But understand this, that ⁱin the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be ^jlovers of self, ^klovers of money, ^lproud, ^marrogant, abusive, ⁿdisobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 ^oheartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, ^pnot loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, ^qswollen with conceit, ^rlovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but ^sdenying its power. ^tAvoid such people. 6 For among them are ^uthose who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions,
