2 Chronicles 16:10

10Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him ain the stocks in prison, for he was in a rage with him because of this. And Asa inflicted cruelties upon some of the people at the same time.

2 Chronicles 18:25-27

25And the king of Israel said, “Seize Micaiah and take him back to Amon bthe governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son, 26and say, ‘Thus says the king, cPut this fellow in prison and feed him with meager rations of bread and water until I return in peace.’” 27And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, dHear, all you peoples!”

Jeremiah 20:2

2Then ePashhur beat Jeremiah the prophet, and put him fin the stocks that were in the upper gBenjamin Gate of the house of the Lord.

Jeremiah 29:26

26‘The Lord has made you priest instead of Jehoiada the priest, to have hcharge in the house of the Lord iover every madman who prophesies, to put him in jthe stocks and neck irons.

Jeremiah 37:15

15And the officials were enraged at Jeremiah, and they beat him kand imprisoned him in the house of Jonathan the secretary, for it had been made a prison.

Jeremiah 38:6

6So they took Jeremiah land cast him into the cistern of Malchiah, the king’s son, which was in mthe court of the guard, letting Jeremiah down nby ropes. oAnd there was no water in the cistern, but only mud, and pJeremiah sank in the mud.
