2 Chronicles 24:21-22

21But athey conspired against him, band by command of the king they stoned him with stones in the court of the house of the Lord. 22Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness that Jehoiada, Zechariah’s father, had shown him, but killed his son. Nehemiah 9:26

26 i“Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against you jand cast your law behind their back kand killed your prophets, who lhad warned them in order to turn them back to you, mand they committed great blasphemies.

Jeremiah 2:30

30In vain have I nstruck your children;
they took no correction;
