2 Chronicles 28:2-4

2but he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel. He even made ametal images for bthe Baals, 3and che made offerings in the dValley of the Son of Hinnom and eburned his sons as an offering,
Hebrew made his sons pass through the fire
according to gthe abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.
4And he sacrificed and hmade offerings on the high places and on the hills and under every green tree.

2 Chronicles 28:23-25

23For ihe sacrificed to the gods of Damascus that had defeated him and said, jBecause the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me.” But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel. 24And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God and kcut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and he shut up the doors of the house of the Lord, and he made himself laltars in every corner of Jerusalem. 25In every city of Judah he made high places to mmake offerings to other gods, provoking to anger the Lord, the God of his fathers.

2 Chronicles 34:21

21Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that has been found. For great is nthe wrath of the Lord that is poured out on us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord, to do according to all that is written in this book.”

Ezra 5:12

12 oBut because our fathers had angered the God of heaven, he pgave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried away the people to Babylonia.
