Ahaz’s Idolatry

22In the time of his distress he became yet more faithless to the Lord—this same King Ahaz.

Isaiah 1:5

5 Why will you still be astruck down?
Why will you bcontinue to rebel?
The whole head is sick,
and the whole heart faint.

Isaiah 9:13

13 The people cdid not turn to him who struck them,
nor inquire of the Lord of hosts.

Jeremiah 31:18

Ezekiel 24:13

13On account of your unclean lewdness, because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed from your uncleanness, lyou shall not be cleansed anymore till mI have satisfied my fury upon you.
