2 Chronicles 29:6

6For our fathers have been unfaithful and have done what was evil in the sight of the Lord our God. They have forsaken him and ahave turned away their faces from the habitation of the Lord and turned their backs.

Isaiah 2:20

their idols of silver and their idols of gold,
which they made for themselves to worship,
to the moles and to the cbats,

22Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. dYou will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, “Be gone!”

Jeremiah 13:27

27I have seen eyour abominations,
your adulteries and fneighings, your lewd whorings,
gon the hills in the field.
Woe to you, O Jerusalem!
How long will it be hbefore you are made clean?”

Ezekiel 8:16

16And he brought me into ithe inner court of the house of the Lord. And behold, at the entrance of the temple of the Lord, jbetween the kporch and lthe altar, were about twenty-five men, mwith their backs to the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east, worshiping nthe sun toward the east.

63that you may remember and be confounded, and pnever open your mouth again because of your shame, when I atone for you for all that you have done, declares the Lord God.”

Ezekiel 36:31-32

31Then qyou will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations. 32 rIt is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
