2 Chronicles 32:25-26

25But Hezekiah adid not make return according to the benefit done to him, for bhis heart was proud. Therefore cwrath came upon him and Judah and Jerusalem. 26But Hezekiah dhumbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

2 Chronicles 33:10-12

Manasseh’s Repentance

10The Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. 11 eTherefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and fbound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon. 12And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God gand humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.

2 Chronicles 33:23-24

23And he did not humble himself before the Lord, has Manasseh his father had humbled himself, but this Amon incurred guilt more and more. 24And his servants conspired against him and put him to death in his house.

Job 22:29

29For when they are humbled you say, ‘It is because of pride’;
Or  you say, ‘It is exaltation’

but he saves jthe lowly.

Job 40:12

12Look on everyone who is proud and bring him low
and ktread down the wicked lwhere they stand.

Proverbs 18:12

12 mBefore destruction a man’s heart is haughty,
but nhumility comes before honor.

Isaiah 2:11-12

11 oThe haughty looks of man shall be brought low,
and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled,
and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.
12 pFor the Lord of hosts has a day
against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;
