2 Chronicles 32:7-8

7 ^a“Be strong and courageous. ^bDo not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, ^cfor there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is ^dan arm of flesh, ^ebut with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Psalms 20:6-8

6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed;
he will answer him from his holy heaven
with ^fthe saving might of his right hand.
7 Some trust in ^gchariots and some in ^hhorses,
ⁱbut we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They collapse and fall,
but we rise and stand upright.

Psalms 33:16

a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
