Manasseh’s Repentance

10The Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. 11 aTherefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and bbound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon.

2 Chronicles 36:16

16 cBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, ddespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, euntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.

Jeremiah 44:4
