Manasseh’s Repentance

10 The Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. 11 ^aTherefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and ^bbound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon.

2 Chronicles 36:16

16 ^cBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, ^ddespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, ^euntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.
