2 Chronicles 33:11-13

11 aTherefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and bbound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon. 12And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God cand humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. 13He prayed to him, and dGod was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. eThen Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

Psalms 107:14-16

14He brought them out of fdarkness and the shadow of death,
and gburst their bonds apart.
15 hLet them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
16For he ishatters the doors of bronze
and cuts in two the bars of iron.

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and mthe opening of the prison to those who are bound;
Or  the opening [of the eyes] to those who are blind; Septuagint  and recovery of sight to the blind

Romans 6:22

22But now that you ohave been set free from sin and phave become slaves of God, qthe fruit you get leads to sanctification and rits end, eternal life.
