2 Chronicles 33:12-13

12And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God aand humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. 13He prayed to him, and bGod was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. cThen Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

Job 22:21-30

21 fAgree with God, and gbe at peace;
thereby good will come to you.
22Receive instruction from hhis mouth,
and ilay up his words in your heart.
23If you jreturn to the Almighty you will be kbuilt up;
if you lremove injustice far from your tents,
24if you lay gold in mthe dust,
and gold of nOphir among the stones of the torrent-bed,
25then the Almighty will be your gold
and your precious silver.
26For then you owill delight yourself in the Almighty
and plift up your face to God.
27You will qmake your prayer to him, and he will hear you,
and you will rpay your vows.
28You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you,
and slight will shine on your ways.
29For when they are humbled you say, ‘It is because of pride’;
Or  you say, ‘It is exaltation’

but he saves uthe lowly.
30He vdelivers even the one who is not innocent,
who will be delivered through wthe cleanness of your hands.”

Isaiah 55:6-7

6 xSeek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
7let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Matthew 7:7-8

Ask, and It Will Be Given

7 yAsk, zand it will be given to you; aaseek, and you will find; abknock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
