2 Chronicles 33:12-13

12And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God aand humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. 13He prayed to him, and bGod was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. cThen Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

Proverbs 28:13

13Whoever dconceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who econfesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Isaiah 1:16-20

16 fWash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
gcease to do evil,

plead the widow’s cause.
18 Come now, jlet us reason
Or dispute

though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as lwhite as snow;

they shall become like wool.
19 mIf you are willing and obedient,
you shall eat the good of the land;
20but if you refuse and rebel,
you shall be eaten by the sword;
nfor the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Isaiah 55:6-7

6 oSeek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
7let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Ezekiel 18:27-28

27Again, pwhen a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life. 28Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

Ezekiel 18:30

30Therefore qI will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. rRepent and turn from all your transgressions, slest iniquity be your ruin.
Or lest iniquity be your stumbling block

Ezekiel 33:11-16

11Say to them, uAs I live, declares the Lord God, vI have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; wturn back, turn back from your evil ways, xfor why will you die, O house of Israel?

12 y“And you, son of man, say to zyour people, aaThe righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him when he transgresses, aband as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall by it when he turns from his wickedness, acand the righteous shall not be able to live by his righteousness

13Though I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, yet aeif he trusts in his righteousness and does injustice, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered, but in his injustice that he has done he shall die. 14Again, afthough I say to the wicked, ag‘You shall surely die,’ yet ahif he turns from his sin and does what is just and right, 15if the wicked airestores the pledge, ajgives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks akin the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 16 alNone of the sins that he has committed shall be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he shall surely live.

Ezekiel 33:19

19And amwhen the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he shall live by this.
