Isaiah 65:3-5

3 a people who provoke me
to my face continually,
^gsacrificing in gardens
and making offerings on bricks;
4 who sit in tombs,
and spend the night in secret places;
^hwho eat pig’s flesh,
and broth of tainted meat is in their vessels;
5 who say, “Keep to yourself,
do not come near me, for I am too holy for you.”
ⁱThese are a smoke in my nostrils,
a fire that burns all the day.

Ezekiel 8:4-6

4 And behold, ^jthe glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw ^kin the valley.

But you will see still greater abominations.”

Ezekiel 8:17-18

17 Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, O ^rson of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit ^sthe abominations that they commit here, that ^tthey should fill the land with violence and ^uprovoke me still further to anger? Habakkuk 1:13
