25 aJeremiah also uttered a lament for Josiah; and all bthe singing men and singing women have spoken of Josiah in their laments to this day. They made these a rule in Israel; behold, they are written in the Laments.

Isaiah 14:4

Ezekiel 19:1

A Lament for the Princes of Israel

1And you, ftake up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

Ezekiel 19:14

14 gAnd fire has gone out from the stem of its shoots,
has consumed its fruit,
hso that there remains in it no strong stem,
no scepter for ruling.
This is ia lamentation and has become a lamentation.

Ezekiel 26:17

17And they will jraise a lamentation over you and say to you,

“‘How you have perished,
you who were inhabited from the seas,
O city renowned,
kwho was mighty on the sea;
she and her inhabitants limposed their terror
on all her inhabitants!

2“Now you, mson of man, nraise a lamentation over Tyre,

32In their wailing they oraise a lamentation for you
and lament over you:
pWho is like Tyre,
like one destroyed in the midst of the sea?

Ezekiel 32:2

2 wSon of man, xraise a lamentation over yPharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:

“You consider yourself za lion of the nations,
but you are like aaa dragon abin the seas;
acyou burst forth in your rivers,
trouble the waters with your feet,
and foul their rivers.

Ezekiel 32:16

16 adThis is a lamentation that shall be chanted; the daughters of the nations shall chant it; over Egypt, and over aeall her multitude, shall they chant it, declares the Lord God.”
