2 Chronicles 36:13

13 aHe also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God. bHe stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the Lord, the God of Israel.

Jeremiah 27:12-15

12To cZedekiah king of Judah I spoke in like manner: dBring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and eserve him and his people and live. 13 fWhy will you and your people die gby the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, has the Lord has spoken concerning any nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? 14 iDo not listen to the words of the prophets who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon,’ jfor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you. 15I have not sent them, declares the Lord, but kthey are prophesying falsely in my name, with the result that I will drive you out and you will perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.”

Jeremiah 38:17-21

17Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “Thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: lIf you will surrender to mthe officials of the king of Babylon, nthen your life shall be spared, and this city shall not be burned with fire, and you and your house shall live. 18But if you do not surrender to othe officials of the king of Babylon, pthen this city shall be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, qand they shall burn it with fire, and you shall not escape from their hand.” 19King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, “I am afraid of the Judeans rwho have deserted to the Chaldeans, lest I be handed over to them and they deal cruelly with me.” 20Jeremiah said, “You shall not be given to them. Obey now the voice of the Lord in what I say to you, sand it shall be well with you, and your life shall be spared. 21But if you refuse to tsurrender, this is the vision which the Lord has shown to me:

Ezekiel 17:15-20

15 uBut he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors vto Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. wWill he thrive? Can one escape who does such things? Can he xbreak the covenant and yet escape?

16 y“As I live, declares the Lord God, surely zin the place where the king dwells aawho made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die. 17 abPharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in war, acwhen mounds are cast up and siege walls built to cut off many lives. 18He despised the oath in breaking the covenant, and behold, he gave his hand and did all these things; he shall not escape. 19Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head. 20 adI will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon aeand enter into judgment with him there affor the treachery he has committed against me.
