2 Chronicles 36:15-16

15The Lord, the God of their fathers, asent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 bBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, cdespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, duntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.

Nehemiah 9:29-30

29 eAnd you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet fthey acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, gwhich if a person does them, he shall live by them, hand they turned a stubborn shoulder iand stiffened their neck and would not obey. 30Many years jyou bore with them kand warned them lby your Spirit through your prophets. mYet they would not give ear. nTherefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

Jeremiah 7:25

25From the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt to this day, oI have persistently sent all my servants the prophets to them, day after day.

Jeremiah 11:7

7For I solemnly warned your fathers when I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, pwarning them persistently, even to this day, saying, qObey my voice.

Jeremiah 35:15

15I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sending them upersistently, saying, vTurn now every one of you from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and wdo not go after other gods to serve them, and then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to you and your fathers.’ xBut you did not incline your ear or listen to me.

Jeremiah 44:4

4 yYet I persistently sent to you all my servants the prophets, saying, ‘Oh, do not do this abomination that I hate!’
