Proverbs 1:24-33

24 eBecause I have called and fyou refused to listen,
have gstretched out my hand and no one has heeded,
25because you have hignored all my counsel
and iwould have none of my reproof,
26I also jwill laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when kterror strikes you,
27when terror strikes you like la storm
and your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
when distress and anguish come upon you.
28 mThen they will call upon me, but I will not answer;
they will seek me diligently but will not find me.
29Because they nhated knowledge
and odid not choose the fear of the Lord,
30 pwould have none of my counsel
and qdespised all my reproof,
31therefore they shall eat rthe fruit of their way,
and have stheir fill of their own devices.
32For the simple are killed by ttheir turning away,
and uthe complacency of fools destroys them;
33but vwhoever listens to me will dwell secure
and will be wat ease, without dread of disaster.”

Isaiah 50:2

2 xWhy, when I came, was there no man;
why, when I called, was there no one to answer?
yIs my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem?
Or have I no power to deliver?
zBehold, by my rebuke aaI dry up the sea,
abI make the rivers a desert;
actheir fish stink for lack of water
and die of thirst.

Isaiah 66:4

4 adI also will choose harsh treatment for them
and bring aetheir fears upon them,
afbecause when I called, no one answered,
when I spoke, they did not listen;
agbut they did what was evil in my eyes
and chose that in which I did not delight.”

Jeremiah 7:13

13And now, because you have done all these things, declares the Lord, and ahwhen I spoke to you persistently you did not listen, and aiwhen I called you, you did not answer,

Zechariah 7:7

7 ajWere not these the words that the Lord proclaimed akby the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous, alwith her cities around her, and the amSouth and the anlowland were inhabited?'”

Zechariah 7:11-13

11But aothey refused to pay attention apand turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear.
Hebrew and made their ears too heavy to hear
12 arThey made their hearts diamond-hard aslest they should hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent atby his Spirit through authe former prophets. avTherefore great anger came from the Lord of hosts. 13 awAs I
Hebrew he
