2 Chronicles 36:19-21

19 aAnd they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem and burned all its palaces with fire and destroyed all its precious vessels. 20He btook into exile in Babylon those who had escaped from the sword, cand they became servants to him and to his sons until the establishment of the kingdom of Persia, 21to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had denjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate eit kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

Jeremiah 25:11

11 fThis whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and gthese nations shall serve the king of Babylon hseventy years.

Jeremiah 45:4

4Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord: iBehold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up—that is, the whole land.

Luke 21:24

24They will fall by the edge of the sword and jbe led captive among all nations, and kJerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, luntil the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
