2 Chronicles 36:20-21

20He atook into exile in Babylon those who had escaped from the sword, band they became servants to him and to his sons until the establishment of the kingdom of Persia, 21to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had cenjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate dit kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

Jeremiah 25:11-14

11 eThis whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and fthese nations shall serve the king of Babylon gseventy years. 12Then after hseventy years are completed, iI will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, jthe land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, kmaking the land an everlasting waste. 13I will bring upon that land all the words that I have uttered against it, everything written lin this book, which Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations. 14 mFor many nations nand great kings shall make slaves even of them, oand I will recompense them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.”

Jeremiah 50:9-10

9For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon pa gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. Their arrows are like a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed. 10 qChaldea shall be plundered; all who plunder her shall be sated, declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 52:31

Jehoiachin Released from Prison

31 rAnd in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, graciously freed
Hebrew  king, lifted up the head of
tJehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.
