2 Chronicles 36:21-22

21to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had aenjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate bit kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

The Proclamation of Cyrus

22 cNow in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, dthat the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, ethe Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing:

Isaiah 23:15-17

15In that day Tyre will be forgotten for fseventy years, like the days
Or lifetime
of one king. At the end of hseventy years, it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute:

16 Take a harp;
go about the city,
O forgotten prostitute!
Make sweet melody;
sing many songs,
that you may be remembered.”
17At the end of iseventy years, the Lord will visit Tyre, and she will return to her wages and jwill prostitute herself with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth.

Jeremiah 25:12

12Then after kseventy years are completed, lI will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, mthe land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, nmaking the land an everlasting waste.

Daniel 9:2

2in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to othe word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass before the end of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.

Zechariah 1:12

12Then pthe angel of the Lord said, q‘O Lord of hosts, rhow long will you shave no mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which you have been angry these tseventy years?’

Zechariah 7:5

5Say to all the people of the land and the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in uthe fifth month and in vthe seventh, for these wseventy years, xwas it yfor me that you fasted?
