5 ^aJehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord his God. 6 ^bAgainst him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon ^cand bound him in chains ^dto take him to Babylon.
