7 aNebuchadnezzar also carried part of the vessels of the house of the Lord to Babylon and put them in his palace in Babylon.

Jeremiah 27:18-22

18If they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, then blet them intercede with the Lord of hosts, cthat the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon. 19 dFor thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the pillars, the sea, the stands, and the rest of the vessels that are left in this city, 20which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take away, ewhen he took into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem 21thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, fconcerning the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem: 22 gThey shall be carried to Babylon hand remain there iuntil the day when I visit them, declares the Lord. jThen I will bring them back kand restore them to this place.”

Daniel Taken to Babylon

1In the third year of lthe reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of mthe vessels of the house of God. And he brought them to nthe land of Shinar, to the house of his god, oand placed the vessels in the treasury of his god.

Daniel 5:23

23but you have lifted up yourself against sthe Lord of heaven. And tthe vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. uAnd you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, vbut the God in whose hand is your breath, and wwhose are all your ways, xyou have not honored.
