2 Chronicles 4:18-22

18 aSolomon made all these things in great quantities, for the weight of the bronze was not sought.

19So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God: the golden altar, bthe tables for the bread of the Presence, 20the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold cto burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed; 21the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold; 22the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and fire pans, of pure gold, and the sockets

2 Chronicles 26:4-11

4And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done. 5He set himself to seek God ein the days of Zechariah, fwho instructed him in the fear of God, and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper.

6He went out and gmade war against the Philistines and broke through the wall of Gath and the wall of Jabneh and the wall of Ashdod, and he built cities in the territory of Ashdod and elsewhere among the Philistines. 7God helped him hagainst the Philistines and against the Arabians who lived in Gurbaal and against the iMeunites. 8The Ammonites jpaid tribute to Uzziah, and his fame spread even to the border of Egypt, for he became very strong. 9Moreover, Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at kthe Corner Gate and at lthe Valley Gate and at mthe Angle, and fortified them. 10And he built towers in the wilderness and ncut out many cisterns, for he had large herds, both in the Shephelah and in the plain, and he had farmers and vinedressers in the hills and in the fertile lands, for he loved the soil. 11Moreover, Uzziah had an army of soldiers, fit for war, in divisions according to the numbers in the muster made by Jeiel the secretary and Maaseiah the officer, under the direction of Hananiah, one of the king’s commanders.

Nehemiah 10:39

39For the people of Israel and the sons of Levi oshall bring the contribution of grain, wine, and oil to the chambers, where the vessels of the sanctuary are, as well as the priests who minister, and the gatekeepers and the singers. pWe will not neglect the house of our God.”

Nehemiah 13:5-13

5prepared for Tobiah a large chamber where they had previously put the grain offering, the frankincense, the vessels, and the tithes of grain, wine, and oil, qwhich were given by commandment to the Levites, singers, and gatekeepers, and the contributions for the priests. 6While this was taking place, I was not in Jerusalem, for rin the thirty-second year of Artaxerxes sking of Babylon I went to the king. And after some time I asked leave of the king 7and came to Jerusalem, and I then discovered the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, tpreparing for him a chamber in the courts of the house of God. 8And I was very angry, and I threw all the household furniture of Tobiah out of the chamber. 9Then I gave orders, and they ucleansed the chambers, and I brought back there the vessels of the house of God, with the grain offering and the frankincense.

10I also found out that vthe portions of the Levites had not been given to them, so that the Levites and the singers, who did the work, had fled each wto his field. 11 xSo I confronted the officials and said, yWhy is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their stations. 12Then all Judah brought zthe tithe of the grain, wine, and oil into the storehouses. 13And aaI appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites, and as their assistant Hanan the son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah, abfor they were considered reliable, and their duty was to distribute to their brothers.

Matthew 13:52

52And he said to them, Therefore every acscribe adwho has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who aebrings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”
