2 Chronicles 8:2-6

2Solomon rebuilt the cities that Hiram had given to him, and settled the people of Israel in them.

3And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and took it. 4He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the store cities that he built in Hamath. 5He also built aUpper Beth-horon and Lower Beth-horon, bfortified cities cwith walls, gates, and bars, 6and Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had and all the cities for his chariots and the cities for his horsemen, and whatever Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

2 Chronicles 14:6-7

6He built dfortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest. He had no war in those years, efor the Lord gave him peace. 7And he said to Judah, “Let us build these cities and surround them with fwalls and towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours, because we have sought the Lord our God. We have sought him, gand he has given us peace on every side.” So they built and prospered.

2 Chronicles 16:6

6Then King Asa took all Judah, and they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber, with which Baasha had been building, and with them he built Geba and Mizpah.

2 Chronicles 17:12

12And Jehoshaphat grew steadily greater. He built in Judah fortresses and store cities,

6He went out and hmade war against the Philistines and broke through the wall of Gath and the wall of Jabneh and the wall of Ashdod, and he built cities in the territory of Ashdod and elsewhere among the Philistines.

2 Chronicles 27:4

4Moreover, he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and forts and towers on the wooded hills.

Isaiah 22:8-11

8He has taken away ithe covering of Judah.
In that day you looked to jthe weapons of the House of the Forest,
9and you saw that kthe breaches of the city of David were many. lYou collected the waters of the lower pool, 10and you counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall. 11 mYou made a reservoir between nthe two walls for the water of othe old pool. But pyou did not look to him who did it, or see him who planned it long ago.
