Hebrews 10:4-10

4For dit is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

5Consequently, ewhen Christ
Greek he
came into the world, he said,

gSacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me;
6in burnt offerings and sin offerings
you have taken no pleasure.
7Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
8When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in hsacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9then he added, iBehold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10And by that will jwe have been sanctified through the offering of kthe body of Jesus Christ lonce for all.

Hebrews 11:39-40

39And all these, mthough commended through their faith, ndid not receive what was promised, 40since God had provided something better for us, othat apart from us they should not be made perfect.

and to open its seals,
for uyou were slain, and by your blood vyou ransomed people for God
from wevery tribe and language and people and nation,
10and you have made them xa kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”

Revelation of John 7:9-17

A Great Multitude from Every Nation

9After this I looked, and behold, ya great multitude that no one could number, zfrom every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, aaclothed in white robes, with abpalm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, acSalvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and adthe four living creatures, and they aefell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 afsaying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

13Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, agclothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of ahthe great tribulation. aiThey have washed their robes and ajmade them white akin the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and alserve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne amwill shelter them with his presence.
16 anThey shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;
aothe sun shall not strike them,
nor any scorching heat.
17For the Lamb in the midst of the throne apwill be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of aqliving water,
and arGod will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
