2 Corinthians 2:15-16

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among ^athose who are being saved and among ^bthose who are perishing, 16 ^cto one a fragrance from death to death, ^dto the other a fragrance from life to life. ^eWho is sufficient for these things?

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan ^fwith all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for ^gthose who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore ^hGod sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe ⁱwhat is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned ^jwho did not believe the truth but ^khad pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 Peter 2:7-8

7 So the honor is for you who ^lbelieve, but for those who ^mdo not believe,

ⁿ“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,” ^{▼▼Greek the head of the corner}
8 and

^p“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, ^qas they were destined to do.
