2 Corinthians 5:1

1For we know that if ithe tent that is jour earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, ka house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Philippians 1:19-23

19for I know that lthrough your prayers and mthe help of nthe Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, 20as it is my eager expectation and hope othat I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full pcourage now as always Christ qwill be honored in my body, rwhether by life or by death. 21For to me sto live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 tI am hard pressed between the two. My desire is uto depart and vbe with Christ, for that is far better.

2 Thessalonians 1:5-7

The Judgment at Christ’s Coming

5This is wevidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be xconsidered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering 6since indeed God considers it yjust zto repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7and to grant aarelief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when abthe Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven acwith his mighty angels

Hebrews 12:6-12

6For adthe Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
7It is for discipline that you have to endure. aeGod is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8If you are left without discipline, afin which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to agthe Father of spirits ahand live? 10For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, aithat we may share his holiness. 11 ajFor the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields akthe peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

12Therefore allift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees,

James 1:3-4

3for you know that amthe testing of your faith anproduces steadfastness. 4And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be aoperfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
