2 Corinthians 4:4-10

4In their case athe god of this world bhas blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing cthe light of dthe gospel of the glory of Christ, ewho is the image of God. 5For what fwe proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with gourselves as your servants
Greek bondservants
for Jesussake.
6For God, who said, i“Let light shine out of darkness,” jhas shone in our hearts to give kthe light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Treasure in Jars of Clay

7But we have this treasure in ljars of clay, mto show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8We are nafflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9persecuted, but onot forsaken; pstruck down, but not destroyed; 10 qalways carrying in the body the death of Jesus, rso that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
