4 In their case ^athe god of this world ^bhas blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing ^cthe light of ^dthe gospel of the glory of Christ, ^ewho is the image of God. 5 For what ^fwe proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ^gourselves as your servants ^{▼▼Greek bondservants} for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, ⁱ“Let light shine out of darkness,” ^jhas shone in our hearts to give ^kthe light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:14

14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

1 Peter 2:9
