2 Corinthians 4:7-12

Treasure in Jars of Clay

7But we have this treasure in ajars of clay, bto show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8We are cafflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9persecuted, but dnot forsaken; estruck down, but not destroyed; 10 falways carrying in the body the death of Jesus, gso that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 11For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesussake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12So hdeath is at work in us, but life in you.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

7So ito keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations,
Or  hears from me, even because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations. So to keep me from becoming conceited
ka thorn was given me in the flesh, la messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.
8 mThree times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9But he said to me, nMy grace is sufficient for you, for omy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that pthe power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 qFor the sake of Christ, then, rI am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For swhen I am weak, then I am strong.
