8 We are ^aafflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but ^bnot forsaken; ^cstruck down, but not destroyed;

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 But he said to me, ^d“My grace is sufficient for you, for ^emy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that ^fthe power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 ^gFor the sake of Christ, then, ^hI am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For ⁱwhen I am weak, then I am strong.
