James 5:1-3

Warning to the Rich

1Come now, uyou rich, weep and howl for the vmiseries that are coming upon you. 2 wYour riches have rotted and xyour garments are moth-eaten. 3Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. yYou have laid up treasure zin the last days.

Revelation of John 3:18

18I counsel you aato buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and abwhite garments so that you may clothe yourself and acthe shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, adso that you may see.
