2 Corinthians 6:4-17

4but aas servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: bby great endurance, cin afflictions, dhardships, calamities, 5 ebeatings, imprisonments, friots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6 gby purity, hknowledge, patience, kindness, ithe Holy Spirit, jgenuine love; 7by ktruthful speech, and lthe power of God; with mthe weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; 8through honor and dishonor, nthrough slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9as unknown, and oyet well known; pas dying, and behold, we live; qas punished, and yet not killed; 10 ras sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; sas poor, yet making many rich; tas having nothing, uyet possessing everything.

11We have spoken freely to you,
Greek Our mouth is open to you
Corinthians; wour heart is wide open.
12You are not restricted by us, but xyou are restricted in your own affections. 13 yIn return (I speak zas to children) widen your hearts also.

The Temple of the Living God

14 aaDo not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For abwhat partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or acwhat fellowship has light with darkness? 15 adWhat accord has Christ with Belial?
Greek Beliar
Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
16What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For afwe are the temple of the living God; as God said,

ag“I will make my dwelling among them and ahwalk among them,
and aiI will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
17Therefore ajgo out from their midst,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
then I will welcome you,

Philippians 4:8

8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

2 Timothy 2:22

22So akflee alyouthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with amthose who call on the Lord anfrom a pure heart.

James 3:13

Wisdom from Above

13Who is wise and understanding among you? aoBy his good conduct let him show his works apin the meekness of wisdom.

James 3:17

17But aqthe wisdom from above is first pure, then arpeaceable, gentle, open to reason, asfull of mercy and good fruits, atimpartial and ausincere.

2 Peter 1:5-8

5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith avwith virtue,
Or excellence; twice in this verse
and virtue axwith knowledge,
6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control aywith steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7and godliness azwith brotherly affection, and brotherly affection bawith love. 8For if these qualities
Greek  these things; also verses 9, 10, 12
are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or bcunfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
