2 Corinthians 7:1

1Since we have these promises, beloved, alet us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body

and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

2 Peter 1:4-9

4by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become cpartakers of the divine nature, dhaving escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. 5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith ewith virtue,
Or excellence; twice in this verse
and virtue gwith knowledge,
6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control hwith steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7and godliness iwith brotherly affection, and brotherly affection jwith love. 8For if these qualities
Greek  these things; also verses 9, 10, 12
are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or lunfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he mis blind, having forgotten that he was ncleansed from his former sins.

2 Peter 3:14

Final Words

14 oTherefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him pwithout spot or qblemish, and rat peace.
