2 gCount it all joy, my brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verses 16, 19

1 Peter 1:6-8

6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by jvarious trials, 7so that kthe tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes lthough it is tested by mfire—may be found to result in npraise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 oThough you have not seen him, you love him. pThough you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,

1 Peter 4:13
