2 Corinthians 9:6-10

The Cheerful Giver

6The point is this: awhoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully
Greek with blessings; twice in this verse
will also reap bountifully.
7Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, cnot reluctantly or under compulsion, for dGod loves a cheerful giver. 8And eGod is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency
Or  all contentment
in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
9As it is written,

g“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
10He who supplies hseed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and iincrease the harvest of your righteousness.

1 Timothy 5:10

10and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has jshown hospitality, khas washed the feet of the saints, has lcared for the afflicted, and has mdevoted herself to every good work.

Philemon 7

7For I have derived much joy and ncomfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints ohave been refreshed through you.

James 2:15-16

15 pIf a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 qand one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good
Or benefit
is that?

1 John 3:17-18

17But sif anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet tcloses his heart against him, uhow does God’s love abide in him? 18Little children, let us not vlove in word or talk but in deed and win truth.
