2 Kings 6:33

33And while he was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him and said, “This trouble is from the Lord! eWhy should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

Isaiah 8:19-20

19And when they say to you, “Inquire of the fmediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of gthe dead on behalf of the living? 20 hTo the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no idawn.

Lamentations 3:25-26

25 The Lord is good to those who jwait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
26 kIt is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.

Habakkuk 2:3

3For still lthe vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, mwait for it;
nit will surely come; it will not delay.
