2 Kings 10:13-14

13 Jehu met ^athe relatives of Ahaziah king of Judah, and he said, “Who are you?” And they answered, “We are the relatives of Ahaziah, and we came down to visit the royal princes and the sons of the queen mother.” 14 He said, “Take them alive.” And they took them alive and slaughtered them at the pit of Beth-eked, forty-two persons, and he spared none of them.

2 Chronicles 21:2-4

2 He had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of ^bIsrael. ^{▼▼That is, Judah} 3 Their father gave them great gifts of silver, gold, and valuable possessions, together with ^dfortified cities in Judah, but he gave the kingdom to Jehoram, because he was the firstborn. 4 When Jehoram had ascended the throne of his father and was established, he killed all his brothers with the sword, and also some of the princes of ^eIsrael.

Ahaziah Reigns in Judah

1 ^fAnd the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men that came with ^gthe Arabians to the camp had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.
