2 Kings 11:5-6

5 And he commanded them, “This is the thing that you shall do: one third of you, ^athose who come off duty on the Sabbath and guard the king’s house 6 ( ^banother third being at the gate Sur and a third at the gate behind the guards) shall guard the palace. ^{▼▼The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain}

Ezekiel 44:2-3

2 And the Lord said to me, “This gate shall remain shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it, for ^dthe Lord, the God of Israel, has entered by it. Therefore it shall remain shut. 3 Only ^ethe prince may sit in it ^fto eat bread before the Lord. He ^gshall enter by way of the vestibule of the gate, and shall go out by the same way.”

Ezekiel 46:2-3

2 ^hThe prince shall enter by the vestibule of the gate from outside, and shall take his stand by ⁱthe post of the gate. ^jThe priests shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at ^kthe threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening. 3 ^lThe people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of that gate before the Lord on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.
