25Then Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again from Ben-hadad the son of Hazael the cities athat he had taken from Jehoahaz his father in war. bThree times Joash defeated him and recovered the cities of Israel.

2 Kings 14:12-14

12And Judah was defeated by Israel, cand every man fled to his home. 13And Jehoash king of Israel captured Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash, son of Ahaziah, at Beth-shemesh, and came to Jerusalem and broke down the wall of Jerusalem for four hundred cubits,
A  cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
from ethe Ephraim Gate to fthe Corner Gate.
14And he seized gall the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of the Lord and in the treasuries of the king’s house, also hostages, and he returned to Samaria.

2 Kings 14:25

25 hHe restored the border of Israel ifrom Lebo-hamath as far as the Sea of jthe Arabah, according to the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, which he spoke by his servant kJonah the son of Amittai, the prophet, who was from lGath-hepher.

2 Chronicles 28:6-8

6For mPekah the son of Remaliah killed 120,000 from Judah in one day, all of them men of valor, because they had forsaken the Lord, the God of their fathers. 7And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king’s son and Azrikam the commander of the palace and Elkanah the next in authority to the king.

8The men of Israel took captive 200,000 nof their relatives, women, sons, and daughters. They also took much spoil from them and brought the spoil to Samaria.

Isaiah 7:1

Isaiah Sent to King Ahaz

1In the days of oAhaz the son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, pRezin the king of Syria and qPekah the son of Remaliah the king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war against it, but could not yet mount an attack against it.

Isaiah 7:4

4And say to him, r‘Be careful, sbe quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint because of these two tsmoldering stumps of firebrands, at the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria and uthe son of Remaliah.

Isaiah 17:3-4

3The fortress will disappear from vEphraim,
and the kingdom from wDamascus;
and the remnant of Syria will be
like xthe glory of the children of Israel,

declares the Lord of hosts.
4 And in that day ythe glory of Jacob will be brought low,
and zthe fat of his flesh will grow lean.

and with Sheol we have an agreement,
