2 Kings 14:5-6

5 And as soon as the royal power was ^afirmly in his hand, he struck down his servants ^bwho had struck down the king his father. 6 But he did not put to death the children of the murderers, according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, where the Lord commanded, ^c“Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. But each one shall die for his own sin.”

2 Chronicles 25:4

4 But he did not put their children to death, according to what is written in the Law, in the Book of Moses, where the Lord commanded, ^d“Fathers shall not die because of their children, nor children die because of their fathers, but each one shall die for his own sin.”

Jeremiah 31:29-30

29 In those days they shall no longer say:

^e“‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes,
and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
30 ^fBut everyone shall die for his own iniquity. Each man who eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.

Ezekiel 18:20
