29In the days of Pekah king of Israel, aTiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured bIjon, cAbel-beth-maacah, Janoah, dKedesh, eHazor, Gilead, and fGalilee, all the land of Naphtali, and he carried the people captive to Assyria.

24 oAnd the king of Assyria brought people from pBabylon, Cuthah, qAvva, rHamath, and sSepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the people of Israel. And they took possession of Samaria and lived in its cities.
