2 Kings 15:29

29In the days of Pekah king of Israel, aTiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured bIjon, cAbel-beth-maacah, Janoah, dKedesh, eHazor, Gilead, and fGalilee, all the land of Naphtali, and he carried the people captive to Assyria.

2 Kings 17:5-6

5Then the king of Assyria invaded all the land and came to Samaria, and for three years he besieged it.

6In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria gcaptured Samaria, hand he carried the Israelites away to Assyria iand placed them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of jGozan, and in the cities of kthe Medes.

11Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, devoting them to destruction. And shall you be delivered? 12 lHave the gods of the nations delivered them, the nations that my fathers destroyed, mGozan, nHaran, Rezeph, and the people of oEden who were in Telassar? 13 pWhere is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, the king of the city of Sepharvaim, the king of Hena, or the king of Ivvah?’”

2 Kings 19:17-18

17Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands 18and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were not gods, qbut the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they were destroyed.

Isaiah 10:9-10

whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,

Isaiah 10:14

Isaiah 37:18-20

18Truly, O Lord, adthe kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands, 19and have cast their gods into the fire. For they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they were destroyed. 20So now, O Lord our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are the Lord.”
