2 Kings 16:14-15

14And athe bronze altar that was before the Lord he removed bfrom the front of the house, from the place between chis altar and the house of the Lord, and put it on the north side of dhis altar. 15And King Ahaz commanded Uriah the priest, saying, “On the great altar burn ethe morning burnt offering and the evening grain offering and the king’s burnt offering and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their grain offering and their drink offering. And throw on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice, but fthe bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by.”

2 Kings 21:4-7

4 gAnd he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, h“In Jerusalem will I put my name.” 5And he built altars ifor all the host of heaven in jthe two courts of the house of the Lord. 6 kAnd he burned his son as an offering

2 Kings 23:11-12

11And he removed the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun, at the entrance to the house of the Lord, by the chamber of Nathan-melech the chamberlain, which was in the precincts.

And he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
12And the altars son the roof of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars tthat Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the Lord, he pulled down and broke in pieces

Ezekiel 8:3-16

3He adput out the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head, and the Spirit lifted me up aebetween earth and heaven and afbrought me in agvisions of God to Jerusalem, ahto the entrance of the gateway of the inner court that faces north, aiwhere was the seat of the ajimage of jealousy, akwhich provokes to jealousy. 4And behold, althe glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw amin the valley.

5Then he said to me, anSon of man, lift up your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted up my eyes toward the north, and behold, north of aothe altar gate, in the entrance, was this apimage of jealousy. 6And he said to me, “Son of man, aqdo you see what they are doing, arthe great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, asto drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see still greater abominations.”

7And he brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked, behold, there was a hole in the wall. 8Then he said to me, “Son of man, atdig in the wall.” So I dug in the wall, and behold, there was an entrance. 9And he said to me, “Go in, and see authe vile abominations that they are committing here.” 10So I went in and saw. And there, avengraved on the wall all around, was awevery form of axcreeping things and loathsome beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel. 11And before them stood ayseventy men of azthe elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of baShaphan standing among them. Each had his censer in his hand, and bbthe smoke of the cloud of incense went up. 12Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing bcin the dark, each bdin his room of pictures? For they say, be‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’” 13He said also to me, bf“You will see still greater abominations that they commit.”

14Then he brought me to bgthe entrance of the north gate of the house of the Lord, and behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. 15Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, O bhson of man? biYou will see still greater abominations than these.”

16And he brought me into bjthe inner court of the house of the Lord. And behold, at the entrance of the temple of the Lord, bkbetween the blporch and bmthe altar, were about twenty-five men, bnwith their backs to the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east, worshiping bothe sun toward the east.

Ezekiel 23:39

39For when bpthey had slaughtered their children in sacrifice to their idols, on the same day bqthey came into my sanctuary to profane it. And behold, brthis is what they did in my house.

Ezekiel 44:7

7in bsadmitting foreigners, btuncircumcised in heart and flesh, to be in my sanctuary, buprofaning my temple, when you offer to me my food, the fat and the blood. You
