2 Kings 17:19-20

19 ^aJudah also did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the customs that Israel had introduced. 20 And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel and afflicted them ^band gave them into the hand of plunderers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

Ezekiel 23:31-35

31 You have gone the way of your sister; ^ctherefore I will give ^dher cup into your hand. 32 Thus says the Lord God:

“You shall drink your sister’s cup
that is deep and large;
you shall be laughed at and held in derision,
for it contains much;
33 you will be filled with ^edrunkenness and sorrow.
^fA cup of horror and desolation,
the cup of ^gyour sister Samaria;
34 ^hyou shall drink it and drain it out,
and gnaw its shards,
and tear your breasts;
for I have spoken, declares the Lord God. 35 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because ⁱyou have forgotten me and ^jcast me behind your back, you yourself ^kmust bear the consequences of your lewdness and whoring.”

Hosea 5:14

14 For I will be ^llike a lion to ^mEphraim,
and like a young lion to the house of ⁿJudah.
^oI, even I, will tear and go away;
I will carry off, and no one shall rescue.

Hosea 8:14

14 For ^pIsrael has forgotten ^qhis Maker
and ^rbuilt palaces,
and ^sJudah has multiplied fortified cities;
so ^tI will send a fire upon his cities,
and it shall devour her strongholds.

Amos 2:4-5

Judgment on Judah

4 Thus says the Lord:

^u“For three transgressions of Judah,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because ^vthey have rejected the law of the Lord,
and have not kept his statutes,
but ^wtheir lies have led them astray,
those after which their fathers walked.
5 So ^xI will send a fire upon Judah,
and it shall devour the strongholds of Jerusalem.”
