2 Kings 17:20

20And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel and afflicted them aand gave them into the hand of plunderers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

2 Kings 17:23

23until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, bas he had spoken by all his servants the prophets. cSo Israel was exiled from their own land to Assyria until this day.

2 Kings 24:14-16

14 dHe carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, e10,000 captives, fand all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, gexcept the poorest people of the land. 15 hAnd he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon. The king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officials, and the chief men of the land he took into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. 16And the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon all the men of valor, i7,000, and the craftsmen and the metal workers, 1,000, all of them strong and fit for war.

John 18:31
