33 aHas any of the gods of the nations ever delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria? 34 bWhere are the gods of cHamath and dArpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and eIvvah? Have they delivered Samaria out of my hand? 35Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their lands out of my hand, fthat the Lord should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?’”

2 Kings 19:18-19

2 Chronicles 32:19

9 sAll who fashion idols are nothing, and the things they delight in do not profit. Their witnesses neither see nor know, that they may be put to shame. 10 tWho fashions a god or casts an idol that is profitable for nothing?
