2 Kings 19:10-13
10“Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah: ‘Do not let your God ain whom you trust deceive you by promising that bJerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. 11Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, devoting them to destruction. And shall you be delivered? 12 cHave the gods of the nations delivered them, the nations that my fathers destroyed, dGozan, eHaran, Rezeph, and the people of fEden who were in Telassar? 13 gWhere is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, the king of the city of Sepharvaim, the king of Hena, or the king of Ivvah?’”2 Kings 19:22
22 “Whom have you hmocked and ireviled?Against whom have you raised your voice
and lifted your eyes to the heights?
Against jthe Holy One of Israel!
2 Chronicles 32:11
11Is not Hezekiah misleading you, that he may give you over to die by famine and by thirst, when he tells you, “The Lord our God will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria”?2 Chronicles 32:13-19
13Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands at all able to deliver their lands out of my hand? 14Who among all the gods of those nations that my fathers devoted to destruction was able to deliver his people from my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you from my hand? 15Now, therefore, do not let Hezekiah deceive you or mislead you in this fashion, and do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or from the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you out of my hand!’”16And his servants said still more against the Lord God and against his servant Hezekiah. 17And he wrote letters to cast contempt on the Lord, the God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, “Like the gods of the nations of the lands who have not delivered their people from my hands, so the God of Hezekiah will not deliver his people from my hand.” 18And they shouted it with a loud voice in the language of Judah to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to frighten and terrify them, in order that they might take the city. 19And they spoke of the God of Jerusalem as they spoke of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men’s hands.
Isaiah 37:10-13

15Now if you are ready when pyou hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well and good. ▼▼Aramaic lacks well and good
But if you do not worship, ryou shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. And swho is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?” 16 tShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17If this be so, uour God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. ▼
▼Or If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and out of your hand, O king.
Daniel 6:20
20As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of wthe living God, xhas your God, whom you serve continually, ybeen able to deliver you from the lions?”
