2 Kings 21:3-4

3For he rebuilt the high places athat Hezekiah his father had destroyed, and he erected altars for Baal and made ban Asherah, cas Ahab king of Israel had done, dand worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. 4 eAnd he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, f“In Jerusalem will I put my name.”

Jeremiah 8:1-2

1“At that time, declares the Lord, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs. 2And they shall be spread gbefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. hAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. iThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.

Jeremiah 44:17-19

17 jBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to kthe queen of heaven land pour out drink offerings to her, mas we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster. 18But since we left off making offerings to nthe queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything oand have been consumed by the sword and by famine.” 19And the women said,

When we made offerings to the queen of heaven qand poured out drink offerings to her, was it rwithout our husbands’ approval that we made cakes for her bearing her image and poured out drink offerings to her?”
