2 Kings 21:3-7

3For he rebuilt the high places athat Hezekiah his father had destroyed, and he erected altars for Baal and made ban Asherah, cas Ahab king of Israel had done, dand worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. 4 eAnd he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, f“In Jerusalem will I put my name.” 5And he built altars gfor all the host of heaven in hthe two courts of the house of the Lord. 6 iAnd he burned his son as an offering

and kused fortune-telling and lomens and dealt mwith mediums and with necromancers. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger.
7And the carved image of nAsherah that he had made he set in the house of which the Lord said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, oand in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever.

2 Kings 23:5-7

5And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations pand all the host of the heavens. 6And he brought out qthe Asherah from the house of the Lord, outside Jerusalem, to the brook Kidron, rand burned it at the brook Kidron sand beat it to dust and cast the dust of it upon the graves tof the common people. 7And he broke down the houses of uthe male cult prostitutes who were in the house of the Lord, vwhere the women wove hangings for wthe Asherah.

2 Kings 23:11-12

11And he removed the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun, at the entrance to the house of the Lord, by the chamber of Nathan-melech the chamberlain, which was in the precincts.
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain
And he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
12And the altars yon the roof of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars zthat Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the Lord, he pulled down and broke in pieces

and cast the dust of them abinto the brook Kidron.

Ezekiel 16:31

31building your vaulted chamber at the head of every street, and making your lofty place in every square. Yet you were not like a prostitute, ambecause you scorned payment.

Ezekiel 16:39

39And I will give you into their hands, and they shall throw down your anvaulted chamber and break down aoyour lofty places. apThey shall strip you of your clothes and take aqyour beautiful jewels and leave you arnaked and bare.

Ezekiel 20:28-29

28For when I had brought them into the land that asI swore to give them, then wherever they saw atany high hill or any leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices and there they presented authe provocation of their offering; there they sent up their pleasing aromas, and there they poured out their drink offerings. 29(I said to them, av'What is the high place to which you go?' So its name is called Bamah
